how can i practice golf at home with or without equipment?

i have only ever played about a week of golf in my life (i went to a camp) and i liked it and i signed up for school and planned on taking lessons but i dislocated my shoulder and tore a bunch of stuff so i wasnt able to im just know able to swing a club i still cant hit very hard because i have to be kind of careful but anyway i already have a net and a mat in my yard but is there any other equipment i should buy to practice that isnt too expensive like something to practice putting or any suggestions
old pro-thats actually how i was learning thats how they taught us at the camp they would say like 1 and would go to position one then 2 and so on and then swing for the last step

If you are injured you want to go slow so as not to re injure yourself. This lends itself for you to find a swing sequence photo from a magazine such as Golf for Women or any other mag that has swing sequence photos. Put the swing sequence up on the wall and start to go through the sequence yourself by looking in a mirror. Hold each position for a count of say ten and repeat the exercise until you can move the club back a forth through these positions in a smooth co-ordinated way. Start to swing the club slowly through the positions and gradually increase the speed of your swing until it feels controlled at full speed. This process could take a couple of months and should fit into your healing process. Hit balls only when you can control a full speed swing. Putting can easily practised by putting to a dime placed on the carpet at various lengths or one of the putting mats can also help you groove your stroke.
