The Love of Eva
Eva’s a Labor of Love is a company named on behalf of our loving mother / grandmother to whom we owe so much. Eva is 89 years old and has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease four years ago. Our family understands what a difficult and emotional time it can be, not only for the elderly themselves, but also for the families and caregivers.
"The Loving Touch Lap Quilt" was designed primarily with our mother and the elderly in mind. To give a gift that will be cherished after so much has been lost. It is a product that is truly a labor of love.
What is a "Loving Touch Lap Quilt?"
Loving Touch Lap Quilts are hand made using a variety of patches. Each patch is a different material offering various textures, to soothe and relax, along with color coordinating patches that are fun and easy on the eye. They are sized to fit on the lap, lightweight and easy to handle. The backing is made of chenille for softness and to help prevent slipping. All quilts are satin trimmed and are machine washable for easy care.
A "Loving Touch Lap Quilt" is a perfect gift idea, an item to be cherished by a loved one. It is an item designed for those with special needs, specially the elderly, including our loved ones with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. It is something to be held and / or touched.
